Climate Sense Launches New Farmer Mobile App: Transforming Farming through Regenerative Improvement

We are excited to announce the launch of Climate Sense’s new farmer mobile App! Just in time for Climate Week NY, the launch of our app equips farmers with the tools to manage and improve their soil health, convert their farm to regenerative practices with customized recommendations and create credible carbon credits. We prepare farmers and food companies to tackle climate change and contribute to a net positive future!

The mobile app is connected to in-ground sensors which continuously measure soil nutrients and other variables. Farmer data is securely stored on the blockchain, creating an immutable and transparent record of agricultural practices, improvement and ultimately impact. The app also features advanced digital traceability, from the individual farm plot, with GIS polygon mapping, and connects soil health and farm improvement to specific geo-locations, creating a unique digital record. Numerous financial incentives built into our approach – including carbon credits – catalyze uptake and growth with farmers, providing the means for companies to engage farmers in their supply chains as partners for a regenerative future.

Once users are connected to the app with their sensor ID and geolocation, farmers can track inputs such as fertilizer use, chemical use, harvest size, water use and much more. The app provides customized tools for farmers to reduce inputs and convert their farms to regenerative practices, tailoring the improvements to their crops, their location and their soil. Climate Sense has also developed a rice-specific approach tailored to the unique needs of rice farmers, providing clear methodology and pathways for the development of credible carbon credits for the reduction of methane emissions.

We welcome the opportunity to share this new technology with you, your clients, farmers in your supply chain or others looking to be a part of the net positive future. Please reach out to our teams to set up a demo or to set up an installation at your or your suppliers’ farms. Join Climate Sense in shaping a more resilient future.
